Dear P596x Families,

Questions are asked and data is taken though the lens of the Framework for Great Schools.  The domains around the Framework for Great Schools are as follows:

 

• Rigorous Instruction

• Collaborative Teachers

• Supportive Environment

• Effective School Leadership

• Strong Family – Community Ties

• Trust

 

 

In each of the six areas, P.S. 596X received a high percentage of those that responded positively around each domain. This feedback speaks to the dedication, creativity and “heart” of our staff, the partnership and support our school has with parents, and our combined desire and efforts to bring the best practices to the students of P.S. 596X.

 

As the principal of P.S. 596X, I certainly was happy that our students, families and staff responded positively. We will use what we have learned from the survey to continue to learn and grow as a thriving school community. I give you my word that we will continue to seek ways to improve our program, challenge our students, and provide services to families.
