"Triple A - Arts, Academics & Athletics"​

We are asking families to drop off your 596x student at 9 am. 596x staff will work with our students in the areas of academics and arts until 11:15/11:30 am, where we will join again with our families for pizza lunch. Due to the popularity of the program, there is a waiting list for this event Registration required - no walk-ins. 

Presented in partnership with FamilyKind. Supporting parents and caregivers, including those who are divorcing or separated. Parenting and caregiving can be overwhelming, especially in times of stress or transition. Join us for a supportive series designed to help you build patience and compassion for yourself while learning tools to stay grounded and present. Additional information in the attached flyer below.

In honor of /School Spirit Week/Respect For All Week, P596X will be “Dressing the Message”! The purpose of this week is to promote the theme of respect by engaging students in meaningful lessons and activities focused on preventing bias-based harassment, intimidation and/or bullying. All students and staff are encouraged to participate, however, participation is optional.

CookShop for Families is a complementary program for parents and guardians in schools that participate in CookShop Classroom Participants complete workshops focusing on such topics as reading food labels, meal planning, portion sizes and physical activity.

596x will be celebrating Black History Month throughout the month of February. On February 12th we will be hosting a "poetry slam" with a variety of student performances, student share outs, etc. Families and staff will also be involved in this very special event.
