Smart Financial Planning: Achieving your vision of a great life for your children through Special Needs Planning.

November 19, 2019

- Wills and Trusts

- Insurance and Asset Protection

- OPWDD and the NY Medicaid Waiver  - Choosing a guardian that shares your values

 P.S.596X @ 178                                              Tuesday, November 19, 2019

850 Baychester Avenue, Room 264

Bronx, New York 10475

10:30am to 12:00pm

As parents of children on the autism spectrum, you must juggle many responsibilities: work, bills and of course caregiving.  However, one ball you cannot afford to drop is special needs planning. Having a last will and testament is crucial because minor children are completely reliant on the parents emotionally and financially. Since minor children cannot manage finances, courts will appoint someone their guardian, to supervise their financial needs and care. One wrong move in this complicated ballet balancing benefits (SSI, Medicaid and OPWDD) services with asset rules (leaving money) could be disastrous.

The goal of the workshop Special Needs Planning, presented by Stuart Flaum is to help you plan to achieve your vision of a great life for your son or daughter.
