PHOTO OF
THE WEEK
Week of May 2, 2022
This week's photos feature our P596X families attending Aladdin on Broadway! On Saturday, May 1, 2022, several of our P596X students and parents had the opportunity to see this exciting show at the New Amsterdam Theatre on W42nd street in Manhattan. Tickets were chosen by a lottery and families that were chosen received 2 tickets. The show performance that our families attended was specifically designed for individuals with autism. Everyone had a great time and we look forward to offering this great opportunity again in the future!

WELCOME
Welcome to P.S. 596X! We are a district 75 New York City Public School serving students on the autism spectrum and other special needs from Pre-K through age 11 in three co-located sites: 11X178, 11X153 and 11X498.
Through this website, you will be able to step into our classrooms and hallways to get an idea of the wide variety of creative programs and practices in which students participate on a daily basis.
Our commitment is to provide the highest quality, state of the art instructional programs to our students, and to offer parents workshops and activities to equip themselves with the skills to best help their child.
